Auxiliary Hearing Aids
Auxiliary Aids are items of equipment or facilities that provide support for people with sensory impairments, such as sight or hearing loss. The requirement for service providers to make appropriate Auxiliary Aids available to customers has been law since 1999.
Portable Hearing Induction Loop
Hearing induction loops reduce background noise for hearing aid users, greatly improving access to goods and services. Portable induction loops can be used at service counters, reception desks, or for small group meeting rooms whenever needed.
Fixed Counter Induction Loop
Similar in application to the portable induction loop, the fixed counter induction loop provides a permanent (mains operated) loop facility for counter and service points that are in constant use.
Portable Auditorium Induction Loop
Ideal for use in large groups or public meetings, training sessions, lectures, etc. The portable auditorium loop is housed in a strong durable carry case with built in loop amplifier. It can either be connected to a permanent fixed loop, or to the reel of loop cable which can be temporarily fixed around a room. This allows one system to be used in a number of rooms.
Mobile Induction Loop
Ideal for guided tours, exhibitions, and non-counter based customer service, the guide induction loop allows the wearer to communicate with hearing aid users while on the move. The unit is fully portable with a range of up to 4 metres; the guide induction loop comes complete with a hands-free-clip-on-microphone. The loop strap is also detachable to create a static induction loop.
