Impact Resistant GRP Glazing

There is no such thing as vandal proof glass! However impact resistant glazing provides the next best thing.

In an age where mindless vandalism is a harsh reality of everyday life, Fybaglaze can provide the solution without compromise. Fybaglaze negates the need to continually replace glass and avoids the high costs of ongoing maintenance.

Made from possibly the toughest glazing materials available, panels are virtually unbreakable, with high resistant to impact, shock, and wind loading, while maintaining an attractive appearance.

Features:

• Vandal resistant
• Shatter resistant
• Impact resistant
• Graffiti resistant
• UV resistant

Applications Include:

• Balcony panels
• Factory roof lights
• Vacant property
• Bus shelters
• Stairwell glazing
• Schools
• Security screens
• Fire doors
• Power stations
• Swimming pools

Panels can be supplied as either stock sheets or made to measure, in a variety of thicknesses, fire ratings (if required) and a choice of surface textures. This versatility provides significant savings in both waste, and cost.

The product is easily installed, without risk of breakage or fragmenting. Compared with ordinary glass, Fybaglaze is up to 200 times stronger, yet approximately half the weight, allowing safe installation particularly in high applications.

Panels can be cut, drilled, and installed using conventional tools, and can also be glazed in a similar fashion to glass, using standard polyurethane or silicone mastics, with no adverse reaction on the panels.
